Before I red the Bible, I always believed that my religion is aligned with it. I also believed that the English Bible aligns with the Hebrew Scriptures where it came from. To my dismay, my beliefs were both false. My religion is not aligned with the Bible, and the English Bible has departed away from its Hebrew origin. I will talk about the misalignment of my religion from the Bible first. Let us take the Sabbath of the Fourth Commandment. Exodus 31:14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. My religion follows and teaches Sunday, but it is based on the Gregorian Calendar implemented in 1582. It was preceded by the Julian Calendar implemented in 45 B.C. The Sabbath in the Bible was based on the Lunar Calendar which preceded the Julian Calendar. The monthly cycle of the Lunar calendar synchronizes with the moon cycle while the Gregorian Calendar does not. I thought I love my God but I have been contradicting His will without my consciously knowing it. It looks like my religion is leading me to death, because although no one will stone me or I will not die immediately when I violate the true Sabbath, this could be the cause of more than 2 people dying every second all over the world. Furthermore, the God of the Bible said that the Sabbath is a sign between Him and Israel forever.
Exodus 31:17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days My religion leads me to be with the people of another God because the day it teaches me to remember is not the day the God of the Bible wants remembered. Sunday is the day of another god. For years since I was born I did not know I was on the wrong side. That is one aspect of my religion that demonstrates its misalignment from the Bible. The Bible, however, is also misaligned from the Hebrew Scriptures that it came from. Let us talk about the Fourth Commandment. Exodus 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. For many years, I never heard anything about the name of the Lord from teachers, priest, and preachers. They must have missed the verse in the book of Joel. Joel 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom It is difficult to imagine how for centuries religious teachers could preach about salvation without talking about this verse and the name that can save their followers. I am compelled to think that they really are not serious about our salvation, but on our donations. On second thought, we cannot blame the preachers, because the English Bibles where their preaching is based hide the name of the Father (in Hebrew) behind the English phrase “the Lord.” For centuries, even the preachers do not know the name that can save their followers. That means, for centuries, the preachers unintentionally (benefit of the doubt) violates the third commandment for taking the name in vain by neglecting it to oblivion. The violation has been handed down from generation to generation. True religion should give priority to this commandment if it is serious in leading the faithful to salvation. For the purpose of our discussion, what is the true Sabbath day. The Biblical Sabbath is based on the Lunar Calendar. Its monthly cycle is synchronized with the time it takes the moon to complete one revolution around the earth. Ancient Israel celebrates the first day of the month starting at sunrise immediately after the new moon. The Sabbath falls on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th day of the month. All the feasts in the Book of Leviticus takes this cycle as basis. Isaiah 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith What is the name of the Father? The name of the Father is in Hebrew. It was written in 6,749 verses of the original Hebrew Scriptures. It has been replaced 6,749 times by the the English phrase “the Lord.” It does not look like the translators love the Father in heaven. His name is spelled in Hebrew as “Yud”, “Hey”, “Vav”, “Hey”. The first letter was uttered as “Yad” and the third letter was “Waw” at the time of Moses. His name cannot be Jehovah as written in the King James Version. There is no “J” sound in Hebrew and the the third letter was “Waw” not “Vav” in Moses’s time. The Father’s name is Yahuwah. This is the name of the “the Lord” the book of Joel is talking about. The Bible is essentially true except for the twisted major issues like these. So, if you think your religion is leading you to the Kingdom, think again because you are wrong. I was wrong. So, let us strive to identify the teachings of our religion that do not match the Bible. Let us also study the the Bible to identify the lies and deception inserted by Satan. Even if the teaching of our religion matches the Bible, if it does not match the original Hebrew scripture, the latter must be adhered to if we want to please our Creator and His Son. |
