YHWH (יְהוָה)

The name of the Father is a four-letter word in Hebrew also known as the tetragrammaton, pronounced "Yahuwah", considered by many Hebrew teachers and believers since ancient times to be sacred to be pronounced. And so, the phrase "Adoni" was pronounced in lieu of the name in readings and preaching in the temple and places of worship. "Adoni" is "my Lord" in English, and now the phrase "the Lord" is used in the English Bibles of today. Consequently, the name was forgotten as centuries went by until today. This tradition violates the words of the Father in the Bible. The third commandment says:

Exodus 20:7 You shall not take the name of the LORD Yahuwah your God in vain, for the LORD Yahuwah will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

That is how the third commandment is violated, taking the name in vain by causing it to be forgotten.

Jeremiah 23:26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;

Jeremiah 23:27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.

The Father in heaven put his life giving image and likeness at the core of our being. That makes us a living soul. He even said we are gods and children of the most high.

Psalm 82:6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

So, how can the teachers of the law say that the Name is too sacred to be pronounced when the power that makes us alive comes from the Holy one? By saying that the name is too sacred to be pronounced the teachers of the law make people believe that they are not sacred, and cause them to violate the third commandment. Now that God believers don't know the name, how can they use it to be saved:

Joel 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD Yahuwah shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD Yahuwah hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD Yahuwah shall call.

So, the next time somebody tells you that the name of the Father is too sacred to be pronounced, tell him he is contradicting the will of the Father. The Father put his image and likeness at the core of your being making you sacred and worthy to say His name.
