Adam Was Not The First Human

Many years ago, I raised a question in Yahoo answers: "Is there a verse in the Bible saying that Adam was the first man on earth?" I got what looked like a straight answer: "Open your Bible it is there?" Actually, I already did before raising the question. The Bible says Adam and Eve had two sons, Cain and Abel. Cain killed Able. Cain was driven away from the face of God and went to the land of Nod:

Genesis 4:16 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD Yahuwah, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

The whole of Chapter 4 tells about how Cain established his descendants in that part of the earth. That means there were humans there when Cain came. Where did they come from? They were created by the gods in Chapter 1 of Genesis. How did I know? First we must understand that the English word "God" in the following verse came from the Hebrew word "elohim" which is plural:

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

The above verse could have been rendered better by saying, "In the beginning the gods created the heaven and the earth." This is contextually supported by the use of plural prounouns "our" and "us" in the following verse:

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

The above verse is talking about the most high telling His gods to make man in their image and likeness. Satan must be there listening to the instruction. Adam was not created in that event. Adam was created in Chapter 2 by the most high himself, referred to as "the Lord."

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD Yahuwah God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

The most high demonstrated how man should be created as He commanded in Genesis 1:26. He breathed into Adam His life giving image and likeness. Satan did not agree with that idea. He wanted Adam to become like the humans created by him and the gods (elohim) in Chapter 1. That was why Satan told Eve to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil to become like the gods.

Genesis 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

The English word "God" was translated from "elohim" again, but the Serpent was referring to the most high, Yahuwah. This is because the serpent hated that name so much that he could not utter it. However, the "gods" was correctly translated refering to the gods in Chapter 1. Eve forgot that she was already god, more perfect than the gods the serpent was talking about. Eve lost her godliness by believing that she did not possess it. The serpent made her use her godly mind power against her.

Adam and Eve had another son named Seth:

Genesis 4:25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

The lineage of Adam and Eve continued through Seth. This is the seed of Eve distinctly differentiated from the seed of the serpent in the following verse:

Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

This was telling Eve that the serpent was not a friend anymore. He is bent on destroying her descendant instead of ministering to her. The seed of Eve is referred to as the "daughters of men", and the seed of the serpent is referred to as the "sons of gods" in the following verse:

Genesis 6:2 That the sons of God the gods saw the daughters of men Adam that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

The word "God" above came from "elohim" so it is striken and replaced by "the gods", while "men" came from "Adam" so we are showing the correct idea of the verse, that is the dscendants of Seth allowed inter-marriage with the lineage of the gods. This is a direct violation of Genesis 3:15 we cited earlier. They were corrupting their seed in the eyes of God:

Genesis 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

And so, God decided to execute a great reset. A new civilization arose from Noah. However, the serpent sow his seeds again:

Matthew 13:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

The picture that we have presented gives more sense to the following verse:

Matthew 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

It is very clear why God sent Hebrew prophets; scriptures were written in Hebrew; and His Son our Saviour was born Hebrew. The Hebrews are the seed of Eve through Seth and Noah.
