The Kingdom, The Power, And The Glory Are Yours

So far we have discussed the lines in the Lord's Prayer: (1)"Holy be your name"; (2)"Your kingdom come"; (3) "Give us this day our daily bread.". (4)"Forgive us our sins", and (5) Lead Us Not Into Temptation. The next line that we will discuss is: "The Kingdom, The Power, And The Glory Are Yours". This is the last line in the Lord's Prayer that we will talk about.

The Power is the energy that makes us a living soul. It comes from the center of our being where the living presence of God resides, by virtue of His image and likeness. I have been talking about this in all my presentation. I have always emphasized how we make that power work against us by rejecting His will and praising His enemy for the life and all the blessings we receive before we could even ask.

He gave us His name to enable us to distinguish and prefer Him over other gods. But we choose to throw His name to oblivioun saying it is too sacred to be uttered, and that we are not worthy to say the name. That means we deny our sacredness and His image in us.

God sent His Son that whosoever believed in Him will be delivered. We say we believe, but gave His Son a name that bears the name of the god of the Greeks, Zeus.

Exodus 23:13 And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

We call on the name god-Zeus in our praise, thanksgiving, supplication and affirmation. So, by using our god given power against it, we shorten our life from everlasting at the time of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden to 900 years when they were driven out; to 120 years in the time of Noah:

Genesis 6:3 And the LORD Yahuwah said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

down to 70 to 80 years at the time of David, and until today.

Psalm 90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

How about the Kingdom? Surely this is not about the Kingdom of heaven. Heaven is already His. Which Kingdom does the Lord's Prayer talk about. It is in the following verse:

Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

The Lord's Prayer is talking about the Kingdom within you and me. The place where the image and likeness of God resides. This Kingdom can only be His if we do His will. In so doing, we will regain the everlasting life that mankind lost. We will fulfill the words of our Saviour saying:

Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Then we can say: "For the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory are yours forever and ever, Amen."

Do not say only the Son of God can do that, because He taught us to call His Father our Father. That means we are all children of God:

Psalm 83:6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

That means what He did, we can do also:

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

If we deny this, then we are cancelling the God in us by using our God given power against our godliness. That is exactly what we have been doing. We need to stop that and align with His will.
