Power of Mind |
When Yahuwah told His gods in Genesis chapter 1 verse 26: "Let us make man in our image after our likeness" He did not say "lesser image and likeness." He said: "in our image, after our likeness," period. That means we are as powerful as Him. Yahuwah wants us to be like Him. I have discussed this in: "Bible Study 1: God Wants Us To Be Like Him." It also follows that we have the mind as powerful as God's. Those who have not downloaded my first book, you can download it for free by clicking the download box in my website and read about the mind in Chapter 10. I will discuss some of the ideas there. Yes, you got me right. We are as powerful as God. Let me explain. Let us first review a story where Peter was walking on the water towards where our Saviour stood. The blowing wind scared Peter, and he began to sink, crying, Lord save me. Matthew 14:31 And immediately This verse tells us that the doubt of Peter cancelled the power of the Son of God right in His presence. That was the power of Peter's mind. We all have that power too. We are the only living creature on earth who can do that to God, cancelling His presence in us, consequently cancelling His presence on this earth. The Son of God our Saviour said: John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. We can do not only what He did, but greater than He did. If we deny this, we would be using our godly mind power to disable ourselves from doing what we are supposed to be doing. We are supposed to align with Him and give glory to the Father. If we accept it fully, the following verses would apply to us: Matthew 9:29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. Our Saviour asked the two blind men if they really believed that He could heal them. They said yes, so He healed them according to their faith. Mark 5:34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. A woman was healed because she believed touching our Saviour's clothes would heal her. She was right, but she was healed by her faith according to our Saviour. The two verses we just cited portray a case of faith opposite of what happened to Peter. The power of life is already working in us by virtue of God's image and likeness. It performs miracles inside our cells and organs to keep us alive and fight invaders of our body continuesly 24/7 all our lifetime. If Peter's mind could cancell the power of God in him by doubting, how much worse would it be if 8 billion people on earth reject God's presence on earth by doing the opposite of what God wants? Just look around us. We see the shadow of pain, suffering and death cast upon the earth. That is how worse it is. |
