The Son Of God is God |
|
In the gospel according to John, Yahuwah our Father in heaven said: Matthew 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Still there are people who believe that the Son of God is not God and they cite verses to prove their point. Let's talk about that: Citation I: God Is Immortal1 Timothy 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. The verse says God is immortal, so God cannot die. 1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; This verse, therefore, is saying that our Saviour is not God because HE died. Is that correct? Question is that did He really die? He didn't. He rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and seated at the right hand of the Father, and is coming back to judge the living and the dead. Actually, the difference between God and man is that man succumbs to death. He overcame death so He is God. Citation II: God Cannot Be TemptedJames 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: It says God cannot be tempted with evil: Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. So, they say the Son of God is not God because He was tempted. Was He really tempted? Literally, He was tempted, but don't overlook the phrase "yet without sin" at the end of the verse. He was tempted by the Devil to turn stones to bread to prove that He is the Son of God. He did not. He was offered all the kingdoms of the world if He worshipped the Devil. He refused the offer. Here's the lesson. The difference between God and man is that man gives in to temptation. He did not. So, He is God. Citation III: No One Has Seen GodJohn 1:29 The next day John seeth Yahuswah was seen by many people when He walked the earth, so? 1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. They say Yahuswah, therefore, is not God because He can be seen. Don't overlook, though, that part saying: "If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us." Problem is that man refuses to see the God in Him by not loving one another. Man also refuses to see God in Yahuswah in: John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. That means no man has ever seen the Father at any time until Yahuswah came and made the Father known to everyone. So, the Father was seen through Him when He was here on earth. He is the Father in human form. He was God in man. Citation IV: God Is Not A Man1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between
God and men, the man Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Don't miss the point of that part saying "God is not a man, that he should lie." the Son of God did not lie, so He is God. At this point of discussion I notice omething becoming obvious. Yahuswah was both man and God at the same time. God sent His Son to be born as a man to illustrate that man can be God. In fact, in the beginning His command was: "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness." But Satan and his angels said no. Satan was able to make Eve think that she was not god. Satan tried the same techinique to Yahuswah, but failed. But we insist on Satan's idea that man cannot be God. The Son of God said: John 10:34 He also said: Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Don't blame God if you are not saved, because you refuse to be like Him. Heaven is not like an open border country where you can just enter without passing the vetting process. |
