Worsened Faith

Our beloved Saviour said the following words to the religious leaders of His time on earth:

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

He was talking to those who claimed their father was Abraham:

John 8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus Yahuswa saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

John 8:40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

These same people had only one God; never worshipped idols; knew the name of the Father; and remembered the true Sabbath, but are unable to receive the Son of God before them despite His works: opened the eyes of the blind; healed the paralytic and the sick; and raised the dead back to life.

John 10:32 Jesus Yahuswa answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

He also said:

John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

That was the kind of faith religious leaders and teachers had when our beloved Saviour walked the earth. Let's take a pause and reflect on the kind of faith we have now. We have many gods; we bow before idols; don't know the name of the Father; and forgot the true Sabbath. Worse, we say we believe in the Son of God who died on the cross, but refuse to call on Him by His true name Yahuswa and call Him by the name which means god-Zeus.
