Short Circuiting Our Godly Power

In our life on earth, we are inclined to think that God has allowed us to suffer, and die. Our religion teaches that too. We are even taught that getting old, getting sick and dying are the will of God. Wait a minute. Suppose we review what God has done already:

Genesis 1:26 - And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the eart

His image is in us. It makes us alive and unique than any other creature on earth:

Genesis 2:7 - And the LORD Yahuwah God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

So, His image and His breath are within us. It's like the bread and the wine in the Last Supper. Wow, we are like Him. Nothing in His words say that we are any lesser God than Him. Therefore, we are as powerful as Him. If this is so, why all the bad things in this world? Our creator has also a lifeline called the silver cord that connects us to Him:

Ecc 12:6 - Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.

Ecc 12:7 - Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

So, God made sure that the flow of His life giving breath continues through this lifeline. It's like the placenta that maintains the flow of life to the embryo in the mothers womb. God has also asigned guardian angels to each of us since we were born:

Mat 18:10 - Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven."

So, we have this situation where God put his image in us; fixed a silver cord to maintain the connection between Him and us; and assigned an angel to protect us when necessary. We are well protected, and yet we have the audicity to say that God allows bad things to happen and that pain, suffering and death are his will. It is very clear that God does not intend to allow evil on earth. Nothing like these happens in Heaven right now. There is no pain, suffering and death there. They do not get sick, get old and die. Who is allowing all these? Obviously, it is us. We use God's power in us against itself. We are programmed to commit suicide rejecting and pushing away His divine presence in us and around us. In doing so, we are giving in to the forces of evil in this earth.
