Our Belief Is Killing Us

There are people debating on whether our beloved Saviour is God or man.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

It is clearly stated that He is the Word who was with God, and was also God. Then the Word became flesh.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

This is consistent with "make man in our image, after our likeness" in Genesis, a perfect one like Adam before his fall.

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Did our beloved Saviour lose His being God when He became flesh? No. Otherwise, He would not be able to raise the dead back to life, and do all the miracles that He demonstrated. He became flesh so His suffering and death for the sins of His people can be physically demonstrated for all eyes to see.

Did He lose His being God when He died? No. Otherwise, He would not be able to conquer death and ascend back to the Father in human flesh.

The problem is in our human way of thinking, that God and man cannot be the same. That is not the way God thinks. As I mentioned earlier God said: "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness." That command is still in effect until today. He also said: "You are gods and children of the most high." We don't believe Him. So, we are using our Godly power against God's image and likeness in us. We are the only living creature on earth that can do that to God.

Here is our situation. The Father in heaven said:

Matthew 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Still many believe that He is not God. How can the Son of God be not God? We say: "I am not worthy to receive you, but only say the Word and I shall be healed." How can we say I am not worthy to receive you? We all have already received Him at conception in our mother's womb.

John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

This is a special kind of light. It is not the kind of light from the sun, or the light from a candle. This is the light of life within you and me.

John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."

.

In other words, without Him was not any of us conceived that was conceived. All we need to do is to accept that light that makes us alive, and He already said the Word that should heal us.

Mark 14:22 And as they did eat, Jesus Yahuswa took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.

Are we eating the bread now? No. We throw it up everytime His light leaves our flesh body in our death bed.
