Karma And Reincarnation In The Bible

Karma and Reincarnation are religious concepts believed to have originated from Indian religions like Buddhism and Hinduism. It describes a natural law of cause and effect. Your intentions and actions shape your future, bringing good or bad results to you in this life or a future rebirth. The definition perfectly fits Cains story in the Bible. Contrary to the general belief that the kind of offering caused his sacrifice to be rejected, it is what was in his heart that failed him. We can know it by the way Yahuwah talked to him.

Genesis 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Yahuwah did not mention the kind of offering, but cited sin that was in his heart. Cain had already bad intentions that shaped the acceptance or rejection of his offering. As what our beloved Saviour said:

Matthew 5:23 “Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you,

Matthew 5:24 “leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

Cain's future got worse when he killed his brother Abel. He complained about his punishment:

Genesis 4:13 And Cain said to the LORD Yahuwah, “My punishment is greater than I can bear!

Genesis 4:14 “Surely You have driven me out this day from the face of the ground; I shall be hidden from Your face; I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond on the earth, and it will happen that anyone who finds me will kill me.”

Yahuwah's response was to punish seven times over anyone who kills him:

Obviously, the concept of reincarnation goes with this verse. How can murder be avenged seven times if there is only one life? So, the belief that the concept of Karma and Reincarnation started with Hinduism and Buddhism is not true. Karma and Reincarnation is as old as mankind.

In the book of Leviticus, it is written that Yahuwah said:

Levitius 24:20 Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again.

Leviticus 24:21 And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.

That is why our beloved saviour said:

Matthew 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

The reason is that whatever we do, will come back to us sooner or later. The English word "law" refers to the Torah composed of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. That means Karma is the meaning of the Torah.

Reincarnation is part of Karma because it guarantees the truth about:

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

So, whatever we have done wrong against others, we better ask forgiveness from them before this lifetime ends, so life will be better the next time.
