In my previous Bible Study episode 20, I emphasized the fact that the Scriptures, the prophets, and the Son of God were Hebrew. The Son of God Himself said He came for the lost sheep of Israel. There was a question I did not answer clearly: "Is the Father in heaven a racist? In this Bible Study episode 21, I will clarify that. We will review the circumstances surrounding the verses that we presented which made the Father look like a racist in favor of His acknowledged people on earth, the Jews or the Hebrews. Actually, the Father in heaven has a purpose here on earth in making Himself look like He is playing favoritism. However, we must bear in mind that there is no such thing as "race" in heaven. Please let that sink in. Let us review the verses we presented before: Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. The verse clearly distinguishes two lineages, that of the Serpent and that of Eve. The seed of the Serpent started in Genesis Chapter 1: Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Who was talking in this verse? The English word "God" was translated from the Hebrew word "elohim." "Elohim" is used to refer to either the most high or the gods all through out the Bible. The reader just need to pay attention to the context in which the word is used. In this verse the most high (God) was talking to whom? God was talking to His gods, hence the use of pronouns "us" and "our." The most high was talking to the Serpent and his host. The same gods the Serpent talked about in the following verse: Genesis 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. The Serpent referred to the most high using "elohim" because he cannot speak the name. He hates the name. He referred to him and his host using "elohim" too, which is correctly translated to "gods" in this particular verse. What is common between Eve and the Serpent is that they both exist by virtue of the life giving image of Yahuwah in them. This is the same life giving image that makes all life in heaven exist. The difference with the Serpent is that he is using his life against the source that makes him live. What Yahuwah wanted Eve and her seed to do is to avoid aligning with the Serpent and his seeds' intentions and works. This makes clear that Yahuwah our God and Father is not a racist fundamentally in the sense that He gives everyone the right to live regardless of race, whether you are an atheist or a theist. Now let us go further by reviewing the verses we presented about the Son of God's point of view: Mark 7:27 But The woman was asking Him to cast out the devil out of her daughter. She replied: Mark 7:28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs. Our Saviour responded by healing her daughter: Mark 7:29 And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter. What does this mean? Our Saviour initially refused to heal the woman's daughter because she and her daughter were Greek. However, our Saviour gave in to her pleading because of her faith and belief, in the Son of God before her that many Jews refuse to recognize then and until now. Speaking of faith, a story about a Roman Centurion is worth talking about. The Centurion's servant who was so dear to him got sick and was about to die. He heard about our Saviour and thought his servant could be healed. He sent men to our Saviour saying He needed not come to his house, because it is not worthy of his visit. He could just say a word to his men and his servant would be heald. Our Saviour marveled at his kind of faith and said: Luke 7:9 When And those who were sent, returning to the house, found the servant well who had been sick. The Son of God, our Saviour gave in to the pleading of a Greek woman and a Roman officer, because of their faith and belief in the true Son of God. The same faith and belief of the angels in heaven. There is no such thing as "race" in heaven. Here on earth, race or ancestry becomes uniportant if we have true faith and belief in Yahuwah and His Son Yahuswa. In other words, we become an Israelite if our faith and belief are without deceit or duplicity: John 1:47 Is the world behaving like Nathanael now? Do we have genuine faith and belief in the true God and His son. Obviously, no, not even Israel. That is why our Saviour is not coming again yet. I have not answered the question why the Father in heaven makes Himself appear like a racist in favor of the Jews on earth. I will answer that in the next episode. |
