How The Name Of our Saviour Was Lost?

If we go to the Bible Concordance online, we find the verse

Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

When the name Jesus is clicked, we will land on the page where we can find the name in Greek: "Ἰησοῦς". This name appeared in 1611 edition of the King James version of the Bible.

The page tells us that the Greek name is of Hebrew origin. The Hebrew name was pronounced Yahuswa, which is the combination of the name of the Father, Yahuwah and the Hebrew word pronouned "yasha" meaning salvation. The name Yahuswa means Yahuwah saves or salvation of Yahuwah.

The first syllable "Ye" of the Greek name resonates with the Hebrews. The first two letters, "Iaota" and "eta" is pronounced, "Ye", a Hebrew way of refering to God.

The second syllable composed of the Greek letters: "sigma", "omicron", "upsilon" and "sigma", is pronounced "sus". A sound that resonated with the Greeks as it sounded like the name of their god Zeus. It also resonated with the Romans because Zeus is Jupiter to them. No translator is alive today to confirm or deny that. All we have today are the claims of Bible scholars who say that the second syllable was never intended to mean Zeus or Jupiter. It was just the result of phonetic transliteration of the original Hebrew name to the present name Jesus. It does not look like that. The first syllable could have been maintainded as "Ye" and the rest part could have been spelled: "omicron", "sigma", "upsilon", and "alpha" to make the name sound Yeosua.

Bottom line: the message "salvation of Yahuwah" is gone. Let us be reminded by the verse:

Luk 13:35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord Yahuwah.

Remember that part: Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord Yahuwah. Let us learn again to call on His name Yahushua.
