Adam's Option

Last time I talked about the option Eve could have taken instead of accepting the Serpent's suggestion. How about Adam? Yahuwah told Adam:

Gen 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

What God was saying here is that Adam should have not listened to Eve's suggestion to eat the forbidden fruit. That means that the situation could have been less unfortunate if only Eve, not Adam, violated the command.

What could have happened if Adam did not listen to Eve? Adam could have asked for gorgiveness in behalf of Eve. God would have listened to Adam by forgiving Eve and not driving them out of Eden, and everlasting life for them and their descendants would have continued in the Garden of Eden. The Garden of Eden could be like heaven on earth for the rest of the world to see and emulate. However, there is a lesson in the story that we can apply to our lives today. Suppose we stop doing what the world does and pray to Yahuwah for the world. Would Yahuwah listen to us? Of course He will. However, Yahuwah would only forgive those who would sincerely repent and stop defying His will as the rest of the world does:

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

As always, those that do the will of Yahuwah who is in heaven shall live in the new heaven and the new earth.

Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

On the other hand, those who choose to remain disobedient and rebelious will remain outside.

Rev 22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

Rev 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

So it was written, and so it shall come to pass that the divine purpose that failed in the Garden of Eden, the same purpose that failed in the Kingdom of David and later on Solomon, shall be fulfilled in the New Heaven and the New Earth, and the rest of the world will realize how wrong they were.
