Know Your God

Many people believe that all god believers in the world call on their gods with different names, but they are all praying to the same god, because there is only one God. Is that correct? No. Are you aware that October 6, a Sabbath, is the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles?

Lev 23:34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto The LORD Yahuwah.

If you are not aware of this, then you have been led to worship a different god.

Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

This means that there are other gods, but He wants His people to worwhip only Him. That is why He gave His name to His people.

Exodus 3:15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD Yahuwah God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

Yahuwah established the Sabbath to be observed forever as a sign between Him and His people.

Exodus 31:17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD Yahuwah made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

If we do not call on the name Yahuwah, and do not observe the Sabbath, we must be a people another god. We do not know who we are worshiping and the words of the Son of God applies to us:

John 4:22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.

It is very important to know as God believer that our beloved Saviour observed and attended the Feast of Tabernacles I mentioned at the start of this discussion.

Leviticus 23:36 Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto The LORD Yahuwah: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto The LORD Yahuwah: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.

We are supposed to celebrate this feast as His followers. It starts from the 15th of the Biblical 7th month until the 22nd.

Yes, there is only one true God. However, we must be specific by calling on the name He gave us, and observe the Sabbath that He told us to remember and keep holy forever. Refusing to do these is not loving Him. It is rejecting Him, and therefore, turn away our face from the His image in us that makes us alive. That is suicide. We use His power through His image in us against it. The result – death.
