A False Argument Against The Bible

So, Sam Harris is wrong. As written in Jeremiah 19:5 the God of Israel condemned child sacrifice. What else did Yahuwah say:
Jeremiah 19:6 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD Yahuwah,
that this place shall no more be called Tophet, nor The valley of the son of
Hinnom, but The valley of slaughter.
And so the slaves whom Yahuwah freed from Egypt, and raised the Kingdom of David and Solomon out of them were facing death in the hands of their enemies for defying the will of their God:
Jeremiah 19:7 And I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hands of them that seek their lives: and their carcases will I give to be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.
If I don't have information why Yahuwah came to this decision, I would easily believe what atheist say that Yahuwah is a monster God. Furthermore, Yahuwah offered them a compromise:
Jeremiah 18:11 Now therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah,
and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD Yahuwah; Behold,
I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you: return ye now every
one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.
Their response was:
Jeremiah 18:12 And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.
So, don't tell me people who sacrificed their children for gods wrote the Bible. I will give you the benefit of the doubt that you need to read the Bible more instead of thinking that you are intentionally lying.
