The Feast Of Tabernacles 2025 |
|
Israel celebrates the Feast of Tabernacles every year in commemoration of the time when they were in the desert: Leviticus 23:42 Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths: Leviticus 23:43
That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in
booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am The booths are constructed during the celebration this days in Israel. Yahuwah emphasizes His name in this verse. This celebration is a symbol of Yahuwah and His people. His people should call on His name in worship during the celebration. The name should be heard in their holy convocation. Leviticus 23:40
And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches
of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and
ye shall rejoice before The scene portrayed in this verse can be seen in Israel during the feast theses days. What is missing is: Leviticus 23:36
Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Offering made by fire is missing in the present day celebration in Israel. It seems the tradition stopped after the Temple was destroyed by the Romans in 70 A.D. Some say that after the destruction of the Second Temple, sacrifices were prohibited because there was no longer a Temple in which to offer them—the only location permitted by Halakha and biblical law for sacrifices. However, the tradition already existed before the Temple was built. Why should the destruction of the Temple abolish it. This does not agree with the words of our beloved Saviour: Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. The present day celebration of Israel still has great omissions: 1) the name of the Father; 2) animal sacrifice; 3) the name of the Son in Hebrew. |
