Whatever Happens to our Love for God

Our beloved Saviour was asked what is the great commandmend in the Torah? He stated two commandments and the first is:

Matthew 22:37 Jesus Yahuswa said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord Yahuwah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This commandment was expanded into four commandments in the first tablet of the Ten Commandments, exlaining in detail how the Father in heaven wants to be loved by His people Israel. The slaves of Egypt became the most powerful and wealthiest nation in the world during the reign of David and later on Solomon, demonstrating how powerful their God is in preserving their generations and protecting them from their enemies by keeping the commandments. Unfortunately, Israel was conquered by Babylon and later on by the Roman Empire. Israel was erased from the map in 70 A.D. What happened?

Israel violated the first commandment by serving other gods:

Judges 2:13 And they forsook the LORD Yahuwah, and served Baal and Ashtaroth.

Israel violated the 2nd commandment by worshipping lifeless idol:

Amos 5:26 But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.

Israel violated the 3rd Commandment by taking the name of Yahuwah in vain:

Jeremiah 23:27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.

Israel violated the 4th Commandment by refusing to observe the Sabbath:

Jeremiah 17:27 But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.

So, Israel forsook her God by refusing to do the way Yahuwah wants to be loved. It is plain to see from their tradition that they hate Yahuwah, the very image of whom resides in them making them alive. What happens if you hate the source of your life? You draw away from it and get yourself to death.

The world does what Israel did and does now. What happened to Israel is still happening to her and the world today.
