When our beloved Saviour walked on earth, he said: John 10:34 He was referring to the writing in the book of the Psalms: Psalm 82:6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. Our Saviour also taught us to call His Father our Father: Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. That means we are brothers and sisters to Him. We are like Him. We are like the Father in Heaven. We have the same power as God. Really? We know that God is within us. God is everywere from the atom to the cosmos. It should follow then that His will in heaven should be on earth. Obviously, not perfectly. Why? The Father and the Son said we are gods that means we have power equal to God. Yes, exactly. The will of the Father cannot be fulfilled on earrh because we are using the power of God in us to oppose it. The pain, suffering and death on earth is a very clear evidence of our power to oppose the living presence God on earth. We are the only living creature on earth who can do that to God. All else, living and non-living cannot oppose the creator of the universe. Remember when Peter cancelled the power of the Son of God right in front Him when he began to sink in the surface of the water he was walking on by doubting. Matthew 14:31 And immediately The Son of God said: Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Satan is always working on our mind and heart by deception and intimidation to make our godly power work against itself. The power of God in us may appear cancelled, but it is still there ready to be re-oriented in alignment with God's will. We need to reprogram our mind and emotion. Trying to know the will of the Father in heaven is a good start. Then we work on going against Satan by loving our God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength. Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. We love him by doing all we can to obey His commandments. Matthew 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. Amen. |
