In our previous article about "Our Godly Power", we talked about our Creator's making us in His image and likeness. That image and likeness give us life and the power equal to His. The same power that His Son our Saviour had when He walked the earth. In fact, our beloved Saviour said: John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. Our beloved Saviour not only demonstrated how the power of the Father worked through Him as a man, but also said the same power can work through us. Unfortunately, we have been resonating with Satan's programming by means of our religion and tradition. We say we believe, in words but not in deeds. We have also talked about how Peter demonstrated his use of the power of God in Him in a negative way by doubting, thereby cancelling the power of the Son of God that enabled him to walk on the water. If one man can cancell the power of the Son of God by doubting, how much worse can the power of the whole world do by going against God? That is beyond what we can imagine. Unfortunately, that is exactly what is hapenning. Suppose we talk a bit about the other side of what Peter did. A woman who was suffering from bleeding for years forced herself through the crowd to get to our beloved Saviour. She was thinking to herself that if she could only touch His clothes, she'd be healed from her suffering. She did touch Him, and she was right. She was healed. Our beloved Saviour felt that virtue had gone out of Him and asked who touched my clothes? The woman came and told Him the truth: Mark 5:34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. In all our beloved Saviour's miracles His words were: "Let it happen as you believe" or "Your faith has made you well." There is no need for Him to say He healed us, because the healing power is already within us. It only needs to be activated by acceptance, belief and faith. Luke 17:21 - Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Remember. The image and likeness of God are within you and me. That is why He said: Mat 28:20 - Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Do not cancell it by fear, doubt and unbelief. |
